Lutheran Family Services Family Support Program provides high-quality family support services for families living in Nebraska and Southwest Iowa utilizing the evidenced-based Parents as Teachers® model.
We support parents and caregivers as their child’s first and most influential teachers.
-
How does the program work?
Families with young children learn parenting skills from certified educators who visit their homes. Parents learn about safety, child development, and literacy.
-
What are the program benefits?
The program detects health issues and developmental delays early through the completion of health and developmental screenings. Parents and caregivers learn more about child development, which allows them to make the best decisions for their families.
