At Smart Gen Society, we provide digital safety programs for communities, parents, youth organizations, faith groups, and aging adults. Our goal is to empower individuals of all ages with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital world safely, reduce risks of online exploitation, and promote healthier technology use.
Online Safety for Aging Adults
Older adults face unique challenges online. This program provides practical training on:
- Protecting personal data (banking, healthcare, identity)
- Recognizing and avoiding online scams and fraud
- Best practices for safe communication via email and social media
- Caregivers are also encouraged to attend to learn strategies for supporting older loved ones in navigating digital spaces safely.
Digital Safety for Parents
The Smart Gen Society at LFS helps parents and caregivers protect their family’s well-being, safety, and privacy in today’s ever-changing digital world. From a child’s first exposure to technology to navigating teen screen time and social media use, our parent programming equips you with the tools to set healthy boundaries and build strong digital habits at home.
We’ll help you understand the long-term impacts of digital choices and provide strategies to manage screen time, regulate online activity, and reduce digital-based stress and anxiety.
