Lutheran Family Services (LFS) provides housing services that promote safe, stable and healthy living environments while addressing factors that can contribute to homelessness, poor health and financial instability. Through programs such as Dana Village and Healthy Housing, LFS combines housing solutions with supportive services that help individuals and families build a stronger foundation for long-term independence.

Dana Village provides attainable, multigenerational housing while prioritizing young adults transitioning out of foster care. Residents can access supportive resources such as job training, therapy, financial independence support, community activities and transportation, helping them develop the skills and stability needed to thrive.

Through Healthy Housing, LFS addresses environmental hazards that can directly affect a family’s health, including mold, radon, pests, lead, asthma triggers and poor indoor air quality. The program provides home assessments, education, supplies and improvements to create safer living conditions, reduce preventable health concerns and help families remain healthy and productive at home, work and school.
