Lutheran Family Services (LFS) provides comprehensive children and family services designed to strengthen families, protect children and promote long-term stability and well-being. Programs span prevention and early intervention, foster care, adoption, kinship care, pregnancy counseling, parenting education and family support, meeting families where they are and providing resources tailored to their individual needs.

LFS helps children find safe, supportive and permanent homes through foster care and adoption while providing ongoing guidance and resources for caregivers and families. Prevention-focused programs, including Centers for Healthy Families and the Fatherhood Initiative, help strengthen parenting skills, encourage healthy family relationships and address challenges before they become crises.
