How to Start Services, Receive Treatment, and Pay for Care at LFS

LFS offers multiple ways to begin services so individuals and families can get help quickly and conveniently.

Walk Into Any LFS Office

1. Walk in: You can start services by walking into an LFS location during business hours. Staff will help you complete registration paperwork and guide you through next steps.

2. Text: “Intake” to 531-444-3434
After texting, an LFS team member will follow up to complete your registration and schedule an appointment.

3. Call: 402-441-7940

If you prefer to speak to someone directly, calling the main intake line connects you with staff who can help you get started with behavioral health, children’s services, or family support.

If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or call 988 for the National Suicide Hotline.
